Welcome To "Win With Tony Smith"

An Overview Of What We Do.... AND What We DON'T DO!!
If you're looking for stats, trends & past performance analysis in picking winners, we can't help you... Today's lines are way too sharp for that approach! Years ago, before personal computers became a household appliance, bookmakers depended on a handful of well respected lines makers in Las Vegas to set the numbers. These men depended mainly on their gut instinct when making the lines that would eventually be hung in hundreds of sports books in Nevada and used by thousands of local bookmakers, just like the one that used to be in your home town.

"The Computer Group"... Vegas' Dark Days!
From 1980 to 1985, Las Vegas sports books took huge hits from a syndicate that would become known simply as "The Computer Group." TCG , which became one of the biggest betting syndicates ever, started out with a computer programmer (Michael Kent), a doctor as the finacial backer (Ivan Mindlin), and a down on his luck gambler/used car lot owner from Kentucky (Billy Walters) who was recruited to be the "money mover"... Billy was in charge of getting the bets down and disbursing the profits to all involved.

Click here for the complete story on the infamous "Computer Group."

By the end of their 5 year run, TCG profitted almost $14,000,000! Many speculate that that number is a lot higher because it doesn't take into account all the people that group members may have shared the information with... and at the hieght of the groups' run it was estimated over 1000 people had access to the plays!

Why The Computer & Handicapping Approach Is Dead Today
Back in the early '80's when the Computer Group was having their way with Las Vagas books, you must understand that they had weapons their opponent didn't... the computer. Sure, the lines makers could have had the same access if they sought it, but they didn't believe in them... they were old school and stubborn and relied heavily on their gut feelings and recent performance of teams' play... This mindset proved to be devistating because while the lines makers were living in the past, Michael Kent was busy perfecting his program designed to seek and destroy the Vegas line, which it did at a phenominal rate! But now the days of computer handicapping are over becaue everyone has one... All they're doing is running the same numbers through the same programs to come up with the same results!! The only difference is the player must lay -110. And that my friends is the definition of insanity!!

The New Era Of Betting Syndicates: Intangibles
While all the on-line handicappers are out there locking horns with the lines makers, trying to overcome the 11 to 10 with no apparent advantage, the new wave of "sharp" players are looking for intangible pieces of information that ARE NOT factored into the lines makers thinking when setting the lines. For example, let's say you found out that a college football team on the road happened to have 3 or 4 of their starters stumble upon the night life in their strange surroundings the day before their game and wound up, as college kids do, having a few too many... and this particular road team is laying a touchdown to a well disciplined home team... If the lines maker had knowledge of this, the line would surely be adjusted down at least 3 or 4 points. But with the job of setting lines for over 50 games on some Saturdays, there's no way he knows everything and in step the syndicates that did the leg work throughout their network and are rewarded with the "soft" line of +7 on the dog and in some cases plays like these warrant a moneyline play of +280 or more!!

"No-Frills Releases"... Don't look for game analysis...
We cannot bring exposure to the intangibles uncovered in our never ending mission to exploit these occurances. Doing so will bring too much exposure to the sources responsible for finding these situations. Not that they're doing something wrong, but some (especially those taking the action) frown on getting beat at their own game. You see, bookmakers think they own a licsence to print money, and for the most part they do because squares stand NO CHANCE against the 11-10, commonly known in bookmaking circles as "the great equalizer."

So when you receive a play from Tony Smith, you get just that... the play. People who have been involved with me for years (or even months) have come to learn not to ask why, but rather to ask "how high should I go!"

Open Order Games... Reserved EXCLUSIVELY For VIP members
Most of you will receive all you need with the regular service to make some nice profits and more importantly have some fun this football season! After all, that's what it's all about... having fun. Once the fun's gone and you're losing big every week, that's when it's time to hang it up!!
But we have found throughout the years that between 5% - 10% of our clients are looking for that extra BANG! You know, the game you can reel back and hit your bookie with all you got! These are what we in the business call "Open Order Games." These plays are the backbone of our VIP Club. What that means simply is everyone with access to these releases are ordered to get down as much as possible at a certain range of the line... and once the bookmakers find out what's going on, they either jack the line so high or take the game off the board completely, but by that time it'e too late for them and they're left holding "negative equity positions" on those games as they're now vulnerable to middles... a bookmakers worst fear.
